1. What does Fellowship mean?
- There are three Greek terms used for fellowship in the New Testament.
I- KOINONIA
It means close association, communion, close relationship.
It is the most frequently used word for fellowship. This speaks of the act of using a thing in common.
II- METOCHE
It means ' partnership' a holding with; a sharing.
III- SUGKO
It means to be a joint partaker with.
2. With whom are we to have fellowship?
- We must be in fellowship with God. This is expressed through prayer, praise, worship and obedience to God.
Our fellowship with the triune God.
a) Our Fellowship is with the Father. 1 John 1:3
b) Our Fellowship is with the Son. 1 Cor. 1:9
c) Our Fellowship is with the Holy Spirit. Phil. 1:29; 2:11
