Our Spiritual Foundation

Our Christian life is a growing life. It doesn't stop where we started. As the tree needs water, air, minerals, sun etc to grow and as our physical body needs to grow so do our spiritual life needs to grow and grow healthy.
Here are some outlines I have written that focuses on some ingredients that helps us to grow in our faith. 
This is only an outline. You can develop it further, use it and share it for your ministries.

Here I want to add Seven Crowning Wonders of the Bible by, Rev. Dyson Hague

1. The wonder of its formation; one book written in one place in one language, another book written in another country centuries later in another language.
2. The wonder of its unification; it is a library of 66 books, yet only one book, for it has but one author, the Holy Spirit. There are no contradictions.
3. The wonder of its age; it is the most ancient of all books.
4. The wonder of its sale; it is the best seller of all time.
5. The wonder of its interest; it is the only book that is read by all classes, and ages of mankind. It is read by sages and children; read by all nations.
6. The wonder of its language; it was written largely by uneducated men, yet it is considered a literary masterpiece.
7. The wonder of its preservation; it has been the most hated of all books. Time and again kings and governments have sought to burn and abolish it. Yet God has preserved it for us today and it can be found in almost every home.

a) Bible is the word of God, fully inspired by God- 2 Timothy 3:16

c) All the subjects in Bible is not a mistake

Word of God is represented by symbols

1) Hammer - The Bible is powerful and breaks the resistance of the hearer no matter how hard heartened are they. Jeremiah 23:29

2) Fire-         The Bible is burning fire, that consumes our impurity or that puts in us the urgency to obey God.

3) Mirror-     The Bible is a mirror, it reveals every hearer of who they really are.

James 1:23-25

4) A seed-    The Bible is a seed that generates/produce fruits and that has the power to multiply

5) Water-     The Bible is water that quenches our thirst and cleanses us.

6) Lamp-       The Bible is an illuminating word that guides us day by day.

7) Sword-     The Bible is a sharp pointed sword that convicts every hearer.

8) Rain & Snow-      The Bible is rain and snow that refreshes us and also softens us.
